Summary/Duties:
Responsible for adhering to Columbia Memorial Hospital s Patient Safety
Behaviors by practicing its error prevention tools, and including but not
limited to all policies, procedures and processes related to the Patient Safety
Program.

The multispeciality Aide is responsible and accountable for but are not limited
to: maintaining environmental sanitation, assisting with patient positioning,
comfort, safety, transfers and transportation, ordering and stocking supplies.
For being dexterous, able to accept responsibility, follow written or verbal
instructions and be willing to work rapidly under close supervision and to
learn new skills as technology changes. Must be neat, well groomed and
personable. Must be customer sensitive, a team worker and must maintain
patient and staff confidentiality at all times. He/she will work as a team
member to promote excellence in the delivery of healthcare in this facility.


Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Clinical training with medical supplies
equipment and instruments required.

License/Certifications:
Certification and/or training. Facility may provide structured program to
prepare individual to perform responsibilities and duties.

Experience:
Awareness of the surgical environment preferred. Must be dexterous, must be
able to accept responsibility, follow written or verbal instructions and be
willing
to work under close supervision and to learn new skills as technology changes.


Salary Range: $15.00 – $15.00
