Qualifications:

License/Certifications: NYS license or certification acceptable IAC MRI (
i.e., CMA, basic operator LMRT, RE),
Certificate from MR vender documenting minimum 56 hours training from a
structured education Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (
RCEEM) program (Provided)

Coursework will include MRI Physics, cross sectional anatomy, MRI safety, slice
orientation and positioning, sequence and protocol development.

Summary:

The Limited MRI Operator performs limited extremity exams on outpatients.

The Limited MRI Operator has a high degree of sensitivity to MRI safety and
ensures that the MRI suite is controlled according to all safety procedures and
protocols. Additionally, the MRI Operator is responsible for the imaging
acquisition process, sending to PACS and completing all required patient
history and documentation to ensure appropriate presentation to the radiologist
for interpretation.
