It is important to us you do not postpone the healthcare you need. That is why we are taking extra steps to find new and innovative ways to ensure we are making your visits safe. Please see below some of the steps we are taking.

VISITATION

Flattening the curve and stunting the spread of COVID-19 means reducing contact with others whenever possible. That’s why we continue to limit visitors, following the latest orders for healthcare facilities.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

CMH Hospital and Care Centers still require patients to remain 6 feet apart while in our facilities. We ask that individuals respect others’ space.

SCREENING

All patients and visitors entering the Hospital or physician office get a temperature and symptom screening. That includes patients here for elective procedures or staying overnight. If a patient tests positive, the procedure is postponed, unless urgent. It’s precautionary processes like these that keep us all safer.

REQUIRED MASKING

CDC guidelines require masks to be worn at all healthcare facilities – even if you are vaccinated. For everyone’s safety, all staff, patients, and visitors are required to wear masks at all times in our hospital and CMH care centers. If in our cafeteria, you may pull down your mask to eat but we ask that it is reapplied once you complete your lunch or dinner.

ENHANCED CLEANING

We continue the increased frequency and intensity of our facility cleaning, and we are making sure to follow the CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines. We’re using robust, SAFE disinfecting processes and paying special attention to frequently touched surfaces. Precautions you can take:

You can take many precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you are sick with COVID-19, or suspect you are infected with the virus that causes COVID-19, follow the steps below to help prevent the disease from spreading to people in your home and community.

  • If you require medical care reach out to your provider.
  • If you require urgent care, please attend our Rapid Care sites. Click here for locations.
  • If you require emergency care, our emergency room is located at 71 Prospect Ave, Hudson, NY 12534.
  • Separate yourself from sick individuals, if you are sick do the same for them.
  • Wear a face mask at healthcare facilities.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands often.
  • Avoid sharing personal items.
  • Clean all “high-touch” surfaces everyday.
  • Monitor any symptoms you might be experiencing.
